November is here!

Hey Everyone,
For Halloween, our church put together a children’s costume party. True went as a giraffe and had a great time competing against daddy in pumpkin bowling. Selah is doing wonderfully. We could not have dreamed of a better, more beautiful baby. True is adjusting well to attention changes and as a family things are going great. It seems that God has given us so many reasons to be thankful. As a church we had our largest attendance of people last Sunday which is also amazing. October overflow really was a great way for us to reach out to the city in a very real and practical way. It is so much fun seeing new people visiting our church and wanting to know more about Jesus.

Family Changes
As our family has changed recently we have been trying to seek God more together. We have been journeying as a family into this new season of life learning what it means to really know Jesus fully. We are asking questions like, "What does it mean for us as a family to fully give ourselves to Christ?" and "What does a family look like that fully depends on Christ and looks to Him for everything?" Many of you are asking the same questions or have been asking them for years. As we launch as a little family we really want the younger years to be as fruitful as our older years. Many have told us that children grow up so quickly so we must enjoy every moment. We want to cherish these young years with our children, and really follow Christ as hard as we ever have even if it looks different.

Events
This past weekend we traveled to the outskirts of town for an adoption play group. It was great for True to interact with other Ethiopian children his age. We had a great time out at a pumpkin farm picking a pumpkin and eating caramel apples. True had a blast as you can tell from the pictures! In a few days one of Ashley's best friends is coming up to visit which is so exciting for her.

Prayer Requests
Please pray for continued momentum as we draw closer to the Holidays. God is doing so much and bringing so many new faces to our celebration service. Please pray that it continues.

Also, pray that we would have deeper, more intimate times of worship. As a church we are going to be starting a series on worship this next week and specifically focusing on the Psalms.

Pray that as a family we would grow closer to one another as we seek Jesus together. Finally, please pray for Ashley's card business. Things are going great but we are hoping that the Christmas Season really takes her business to the next level.

Thanks for always praying for us and loving us so well. The Kennedys
