October Overflow

Hope things are going well in your neck of the woods. Portland is getting cooler and a little bit rainier. We have been enjoying our larger family, and definitely enjoying all this city has to offer for little kids. Ashley is recovering well and getting back to normal. Just like our family is growing so are things at the church. We are right now at the tail end of what we are calling October Overflow. As a church we are reaching out to the city in very practical ways almost every day of the week. We have been able to bless this city during the October Overflow, and it has created a lot of exposure for our church. We are simply loving people passing out coffee, invite cards, soft drinks, or some other thoughtful item depending on the outreach location. We have several short term teams in town to help; one team is visiting from California and the other from Texas. We have really been reaching out to downtown families as well as Portland State University College students. Our goal is to see people come to know Christ, be radically changed, and then sent out to plant churches around the world. Please continue to pray for us as a church these next few weeks that our people would have a heart to reach out to those who don't know Christ, and also for soft hearts to receive the gospel.
